Laughing Dog is a family business with customer service at our heart. We first opened our doors in November 2009 and have been growing ever since. Our customers have played a vital role in how our business has developed, disappointment at the lack of quality coffee in the area inspired us to open our own café in store serving barista coffee and light lunches.

The local artists and artisans of Brighton have shaped our shop into something truly special. Many of the products provided by these creative talents are unique or exclusive to Laughing Dog. We work hard to complement the artisan's wonderful bespoke handmade products with high quality design led goods at a fair price. Many of the companies we use design and make their goods in the UK but we also like to welcome great designs from the rest of the world too. Our goods vary greatly from women's fashion accessories; gifts for children, design led home wears, toiletries providing a wide selection of gifts for all.

The Gallery's changing exhibitions of work come from a variety of artists from locations across the UK. We display high quality prints alongside the originals and media used ranges from oils and acrylics to glass and lampshades and anything in between. Price starts from £20 and continue upwards. We have a welcoming gallery space and are happy to parlay between customer and the artist with regard to commissions and prints. 90% of the prints on display are printed at our Fine art print studio located at Brighton Marina assuring quality, colour and length of life.
